McDonaldA completely engaging album that blends the contemporary rock idiom (circa 1995) with a variety of Native American elements, including spirit songs and hoop dances. The shifts in musical direction may seem a bit odd at times, but by the end the whole set makes sense. There is a nice Southwestern flavor to the album and a nice lack of histrionics. Well worth tracking down.
