Glenn and Lisa Ginn have been performing together for over 10 years. Their stylistic ventures have included jazz, folk, rock, country, bluegrass and gospel. Their cd "Swing Street" is the culmination of a project begun in 1998. Their band, by the same name, was formed to play big band swing style music within a small group (7-piece) setting. All of the tunes on the cd are original arrangements by Glenn Ginn. These arrangements and many others have been performed live in the Fargo, ND region and beyond since 1998. All tunes on the cd are classic jazz and swing standards except for one more obscure track, "If You Live" which is probably only known to fans of the great jazz/blues pianist and vocalist Mose Allison.
