Just 18 months after the release of their debut self-titled album, Toronto's My Darkest Days dig way down into their collective libido on "Casual Sex," the first single from their forthcoming sophomore effort SICK AND TWISTED AFFAIR (604 Records/Universal Music Canada) "Casual Sex" slithered into the Top 20 at iTunes and Top 40 at Active Rock Radio in its first week. The track features incendiary guitar work by John 5 (Robb Zombie, Marilyn Manson). The release of SICK AND TWISTED AFFAIR will coincide with My Darkest Days hitting the road on the massive two and a half month Nickelback "Here and Now Tour 2012" also featuring Bush and Seether. The 39-city North American tour kicks off on April 10th in Moline, IL, and includes the following Canadian dates: April 21 Bell Centre, Montreal ; April 22, Air Canada Centre, Toronto ; May 15, Rexall Place, Edmonton ; May 16, Scotiabank Saddledome, Calgary; May 18, Saskatchewan Credit Union Centre, Saskatoon;, and June 26, Rogers Arena, Vancouver. My Darkest Days first hit the charts in the fall of 2010, when their iconic debut single "Porn Star Dancing," rose to #1 on the Active Rock and Mainstream Rock charts in the US and #2 in Canada. "Porn Star Dancing" was certified RIAA gold in the U.S. (over 800,000 digital sales and still a recurrent Top 10 at Active Rock) and certified Platinum in Canada. The video (directed by Brendan Kyle Cochrane) broke the world record for the number of dancers in a music video, and collected over 12 million YouTube views.
