简介
The Northwestern Undertones are a co-ed a cappella group from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. What that means to the lay-person is that we use only voices (both male and female) to accompany our songs; no instruments. So you\'re thinking, \"What, so you\'re some choral group?\" No, no, you see, we prefer to have fun (no offense, choral groups). Pop songs, baby, not Gregorian chant. Our voices become the guitar, the flute, the synth, the bass, even the drums. Figure that out. What happens when the angst of Alanis Morissette meets the angst of fifteen college kids? Or when the soundtrack to Simba\'s birth is popped out of Africa, and into the throats of fifteen white people? Or when the Dixie Chicks suddenly become the Dixie People, because there\'s men in our group? What\'s that, intrepid traveler in the whirling world of music? You can\'t even imagine how that would sound? Well then. You should buy one of our CDs, and find out.
