The Departure Theme Single is meant to complement the previously released digital version of the Self 2.0 album. The leading single, "Departure Theme," and additional track, "City of Sand Castles," are both tracks which were recorded after the digital release of Self 2.0 and later included on the physical version released directly by Christian Älvestam. In order for digital music fans to have access to all available tracks, they have now been made available.
