简介
BANDHISTORY Forming in August 1991 from an advertisement in a local newspaper, drummer Ray Perron and guitarist John Chouinard came in contact to form the band. John knew of and had worked previously with vocalist Maurice Fauteux and Ray was working with bassist Mark Elliott. This was the original line-up which recorded one song. 1992's "The Enchanter", released on Digital Graffiti from Big Noise Records. With moderate success from this compilation and regional touring, ENCHANTER started a solid underground fan base that is still growing to the present. After the departing of Mark Elliott in 1993 just as Digital Graffiti was being released, bassist John Dennen jumped right on and has had bass guitar duty ever since. Playing the same clubs and the same songs for nearly ten years, in January of 2000, they entered the studio to start recording "Symbols In Stone", the first release effort to be pressed to 2000 copies. Released on Halloween 2001, it continues to gather attention. Although other material was recorded all thru the 1990's with John Dennen on bass, “Symbols In Stone” and "Secrets Vol 1" both were the highlight of all studio time. These earlier pre-2000 demos will be re-recorded for ENCHANTER's 3rd studio record due to cheap production. The 2nd album entitled "Secrets Vol 1", copyright 2002 is still unreleased to this day, but in these days it is going to be changed. Enchanters style of Metal will leave you asking for more. Experienced at any size stage and any size crowd, from 6 to 60,000... ENCHANTER will always play like they mean it…
