Every song has a story and every story is heard by the minds ear. It tells the heart what is real. Here before you is a heavy canvas which I have painted with so many brushes. The musicians you are hearing, feeling, experiencing with intimacy, are some of the best who linger long in the outer realm beyond the common denominator. Find a melody, spill your thoughts, and let your words fly. My friends and colleagues, whether or not they live in this invigorating and most unique state of Utah, in some way or another hold ties to this place. Most of the players somehow through serendipity, whether it be a layover, passing through, or in the neighborhood, showed up at the right time to take part on this record.
