简介
Scott returned to Memphis several years ago to do an R. T. Scott Band reunion show. That lead to more shows and the new CD. He writes about love, drugs, murder and jail on the new CD, which he describes as a true old style “honky tonk" album. “He’s writing more from the heart,” said Dan Ward, who produced the CD. Scott has “more of a personal insight available to him these days other than just the old party animal.” Scott sings about love gone bad in "Tattoo Tears.” The song includes the line, “Tattoo tears on my face, that can be erased". And in "Jack Says" Scott tells the story of a man who had achieved all his dreams, but just could not shake his demons with lines that include "He stood among the pieces of his castle that had fallen to the ground". With a rich deep sound that is unique to R.T. Scott, "Life and Death" is full of outlaw country music that is sure to please the most discerning music listeners!
