Old EIEIO mates Steve and Rick got together to write after 20 years and it flowed and dovetailed just like before, only more so. Rick got excited and sent some tunes to Bun who gave them a listen and said, "That's Cool Stuff, but it needs drums. I've got some and I'll play 'em!" so he did and Thrift Shop Volume 1 was born. Then Rick began to wax poetic:

Guitar, bass, & drums. Add vocals and lyrics that began as an in your face proposition and devolved into one hell of a joyful racket. A joie de vivre that shouts “let’s get together” but only when we feel like it and not when somebody somewhere gives a command and demands our presence. Thank you one and all for inventing the internet and as much as we’re devotees of tube amplifiers and instruments with pedigrees we welcome innovation and cheap foreign labor in this a** backward digital age, but do we welcome change? I may get back to that in a moment. Prison pen pals? Possibly. Smoky bars and loud cavernous bowling alleys that time has swept away? Grumpy? Definitely. Bandits, scoundrels and knuckleheads? Sweet William with pocket candies and a way with down time? Yes to all but honestly do you care? Someday we may ask you that simple question and then prompt you to accept or deny. Friend us, please? Mmmmm, maybe. As time allows feel free to enjoy the semi righteous cool, cool tones of the one, the only, the makers and shakers of all things buttery, creamy smooth. Welcome .... Thrift Shop.
