Formed in 2015 by Valentine Mache, Paper Mache Kisses (PMK) is an electronic, pop, dance, gothic, rock band from Los Angeles, CA. Mache is redrawing the POP music landscape, having started with PMK’s Valentines Day 2017 release "WATCH HER DANCE" CD, featuring their new DANCE/GOTHIC/ROCK sound – as well as releasing the June 2017 song “BETWEEN THE STARS”, featuring Emmanuel Felix of France. And now, Mache continues with that effort, with yet another collaboration – this time with Germany’s KALLYPSO. Kallypso lives in Sulingen, Lower Saxony, a northern part of Germany. Born in Herten, a small town of the Ruhr district, he grew up listening to the music of the 80s and 90s and especially enjoyed the very synth-based songs of those time periods. With a great appreciation for classical and retro electronic music, he greatly admired composers like Hans Zimmer, Jean Michel Jarre and Harold Faltermeyer. After learning and mastering the keyboards, Kallypso now especially enjoys creating different and interesting sounds and integrating them into his compositions. We are the beneficiaries of Kallypso’s very catchy and well-arranged synth-based songs on this new album. Along with Valentine Mache’s unmistakable voice and edgy guitar work, the two have created a masterpiece first album. With the further success of “HEART LIKE A DRUM”, owing to the easy collaboration style of Valentine Mache and Kallypso, we look forward to other great songs and albums by the two. ###
