I’ve always wanted to do an album with an orchestra, but its never been the right place, time or body of work before. As these tunes came together, I knew this was it. Something about these melodies screamed for ornamentation that simply isn’t possible with the typical pop band setup. The Prague Philharmonic were a joy to work with and put so much passion and soul into their playing. That passion really is an integral part of this album and I am indebted to them for their joyous musicianship. On guitar duties this time around is Justin Abedin (JACKSOUL), who brought his inspired fretmanship to the table. Underneath him is the ferociously talented longtime collaborator Russ Boswell (PARACHUTE CLUB) on bass and anchoring us all is Rick Gratton (PATTI LABELLE), who has more groove than any man I have ever met. This album has been a labour of love and has taken the best part of a year to put together.
