The songs on my Time Flies album are attempts at trying to describe, and get beyond our world of time and space. The title track, Time Flies was written for my father who passed away in 2002, while Give Me Time was inspired by a visit to the Grand Canyon. Soldier was recorded on an old reel to reel, with my band, the Gladys Bloggs Band in Bristol, England and has literally traveled through time to it's present digital format, patched up on the way, if only to preserve the flute solo by Stan Thewlis from Skywhale. Ain't It Time is about Gun Control in America, and And I Love Him is a cover of the Beatles song from A Hard Day's Night, which I hope I've done justice). Desert Suite is an eight minute combination of a piano song and guitar instrumental.
