The Motorcity EP is a true ode to Detroit, where techno started...It wasn't until we listened to Exploit's "Offshoot" and "The Philter" that we realized that perhaps the Motorcity EP was an ode to Detroit, the city which is a worldwide inspiration to the techno scene as it is right now. Listening to both tracks is like traveling back into time to where it all started many years ago. The old school hi-hats, snares, drums and bass lines really get you in the mood, reminiscing tracks of Detroit pioneers like Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May.
