The title of the CD is appropo because the music has been in the works for decades. As a five year old piano prodigy Gale Stoddard was already hearing the music in her head. It was not until many decades later that FATE would bring her the lyricists that were meant to help her finish this beautiful musical tapestry. With the three time Oscar winning lyricist RAY EVANS whose songs with Jay Livingston have sold over 400 million copies, Gale would begin the musical journey she was born to do. She is the only composer that the last of the living songwriter legends has written six songs with. The exception being his lifetime partner, the late Jay Livingston. Ray has written with the best of them. He endearingly calls "GALE my favorite composer, talented pianist and a musical genius". Sam Slavik offers his brand of witty and playful lyrics to the sounds of Big Band music. Roland Valentino paired with Gale to pen the enchanting/mesmerizing 'Christmas without You" and the Disneylike song in waltz time called SARAHI. Capping it are the two easy listening songs written with musician- daughter Lesliann, an award-winning guitarist and very much in demand performer. With two of Hollyywood's vocal talents Ellen Cooper and Roland Valentino and the pianistic abilities of Vern Waldron and Jeff Lass what else is there to say?
