Jonathan is not your typical artist, in fact he’s only nineteen years old. He has been playing music since he was thirteen and didn’t write his first song until the age of fifteen. During his teenage years he has been working jobs varying from cooking in restaurants, installing floor surfaces, entertaining the multitudes at NBA games, teaching Spanish at a High School, and even working at a bayou bait shop selling live shrimp and cut bait. Not only is he always working, he frequently goes on missionary trips to Nicaragua, finds time to be a full time college student, performs his music in the New Orleans area, and has been serving in the same church his entire life. Music has been an avenue for Jonathan to bring people together regardless of their race or creed. He strives to bring light into the darkness and tell the wounded world about the real Healer who’s name is Jesus. In 2009 the New Orleans Saints recognized Jonathan by awarding him during an NFL game for his positive efforts in his community and his passion for world missions. Not only did he receive an award and was honored on the field, the organization wrote out a check to his church, White Dove Fellowship, to help support the missionary work Jonathan had been apart of. He believes that through his music he has the potential to reach countless numbers of people all around the world. At such a young age with such a large vision and a gift to create music, he hopes that one day he will have enough influence to bring the great Gospel into today’s pop culture and tell the world that Jesus is alive.
