A star-studded group of artists have collaborated with the electropop act Amelia’s Fault as it readies its debut album, “Shadows,” for release on (DATE). The album, written and produced by Matt Eriksson, Richard Hymas and Charlie Mason, features vocals from classic rocker Robin Beck, who rose to fame with the worldwide hits “First Time” and “Save Up All Your Tears,” actress/singer Jane Badler, beloved for her work as alien leader Diana on the TV series “V,” and Andreas Öhrn, a member of the hugely successful electrorock act Gravitonas. The moody electropop album “Shadows” is the culmination of a collaboration that reached across the globe, from the US and UK to Scandinavia and Australia. EQ Music Blog has called Amelia’s Fault a “frightfully wicked but also mesmerizingly fascinating creation.” Pop, Rinse, Repeat music blog wrote that “darkwave has never sounded cooler.” The first Amelia’s Fault release, “Colder,” featuring synthpop artist Color Theory, held the top spot among Amazon’s free downloads for weeks. The track will be included on the album along with “Salvation,” sung by another noteworthy synthpop vocalist, Aidan Casserly (from Empire State Human). The album also feature the vocals of up-and-coming talents such as Brittany Hayes, who Amelia’s creator discovered through the film “Fame High” (about a group of extraordinary young people following their dreams in the arts), Norway’s 2Boys and Australia’s Emma Dean. On the song “Say Goodbye,” Lauren Ray lends both her songwriting and vocal talents. The mastermind behind Amelia’s Fault, Swedish born, UK-based Matt Eriksson, has had music featured on Bravo, HBO, Disney Channel and Vh1 TV series and has produced and remixed for international such as artists as Loreen and Rozalla. British songwriter Richard Hymas plays guitar for the Ben Waters Band, has recorded with several members of the Rolling Stones and has co-penned tunes for such acts as Sweden’s Ulrik Munther and the Netherlands’ Jeronimo. Lyricist Charlie Mason has co-written several Top 40 hits, including last year’s Eurovision winner, “Rise Like a Phoenix.” His other credits include songs released by Miley Cyrus, Eric Saade, Sweet California, Sergey Lazarev, BoA and Zorro Blakk.
