by Antti J. RavelinDespite the fact that Whitehouse didn't develop themselves much in the '80s, Right to Kill marks a low point in their discography. Right to Kill lacks an interesting concept and musically it is unbelievably flat and monotone. Basically, all of the tracks are based on same kind of samples (high-pitched feedback) and vocals (barely audible mid-tone screaming), so it is pretty certain that listeners will give up before they hit the middle of Right to Kill. The album has its upsides, though. Songs such as "Death Penalty," "New Sadist," and the title track clearly stand out from the rest of the material; however, a hardcore fan of Whitehouse will find him or herself more comfortable with other albums, as Right to Kill fails in comparison with a majority of Whitehouse's discography.
