Chinook is a rock band that released a single and an album in the eighties. The album “Stormin’”, which was released in 1984, was remastered and re-rereleased in 2017. The band mostly played in Switzerland, with two Canadian-Swiss double citizens in the band, Walter K. Thut (bass, vocals) and Andy Flinn (lead vocals, guitar). They were influenced by greats as Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones, but had their own touch of a slight punk added to their style. Chinook mainly toured in Europe, before Walter and Andy founded the band “Look People” in Toronto, Canada, together with Jaymz Bee. Today Andy Flinn is touring solo, after many successful albums with the duo “Andy & Ariana”. Walter is the producer and bass player of “The Blues Mystery”, they released two albums, but also is doing solo projects as the album “Feeling My Groove” with the band “Your Vibrations”. Other former recording band members were Raini Blersch, Tom Schifferle and Mike Weilenmann.
