Ohio-based Americana singer/songwriter David Mayfield has deep roots in the bluegrass and folk scenes. He is a member of the progressive bluegrass band Cadillac Sky, and began writing his own material while on tour with The Avett Brothers and Mumford & Sons. He released his solo record under the name The David Mayfield Parade. The album boasts a dark, gritty Americana sound that incorporates elements of rock and country. He released Good Man Down in 2013 and Strangers in 2014 to critical acclaim.
