Holy Roman Empire is the solo project of Lucas Williams. After playing with a host of bands throughout high school, Lucas began experimenting with solo recordings, using a single microphone with multiple tracks, making each endeavor more elaborate than the last, the result was Holy Roman Empire. HRE has a unique sound that beckons to the disparity of shoe gaze, yet is inspirational with the musical ingenuity of layering multiple classical and indigenes instruments in every song, creating a sound all his own.
