The next schedule release for "Roddy Ra" will be a collection of songs from the album " No Ordinary Jones". It follows up on the collaboration of the album "Soulmance" (you really should get it) I realize that the name Jones is a very common name. I want the listener to understand that my music is not ordinary in it's approach to theory. I examine the relationship of people with thiniest razor blade. I mean that the broad strokes of the brush describing love will always be there and the "straight to the point" sex songs will be there also. I want to write about the motivation of tears,heartbreak, revelation and elevation. You know the walk in music and no words of your favorite 9:00 pm soap oprea. What happens when a man does everything right? How do I step to you? Knowing how much weight you already are carrying..do I want to take on that weight? Gone are the days of me writing with "Skeelo" on the "I Wish" single. I have grown from being a Air Force dependent and have learned lessons in love from great people along the way like "Greedy Greg" of "Domino", "AMG "who actually set down and talked to me about this business. He did it all himself from conception to distribution. I've always written and I hope that peolple see hope in what I write...
