Slow Motion Replay Biography Slow Motion Replay is a very cool musical project straight from Japan. Cool, in the same sense that Be Bop was cool in the 50's, Bossa Nova in the 60's, Soul Music in the 70's, Jazz Fusion in the 80's and Acid Jazz in the 90's... Cool, in the sense of that all the spices of life are always welcome in the kitchens of the great musical cookers... The Slow Motion Replay project's cookers are Kenichi Yanai, Shinya Kusumoto and Takuya Ishibashi. They all have a strong background in the japanese groovy scene. Kenichi Yanai is the leading force of Soul Source Production and have been remixed artists as Jackson 5, Earth, Wind & Fire, Boys Town Gangand many more in parallel of his own compostionsand productions, Shinya Kusumoto is an inspired dj member of the Routine Jazz crew, Takuya Ishibashi is a dj and producer who's have recently released a fertile production of remixes and songs. They are joined on this project by the brilliant Leslie Carter from USA. And all together, they are just a band of natural born groovers. From the smooth & warm "Tell me a bedtime story" to the abstract "Spartacus", this single is an instant classic. It's like a musical walk in a japanese garden full of groovy flowers, let your ears do the bees...
