For this collection, I set out to write and arrange music that was simply about giving thanks. No asking for anything--just being grateful. In the year I spent working on these songs, I learned again this important lesson: if you want to be happy, be thankful. In the words of Dieter F. Uchtdorf: "No matter our circumstances, no matter our challenges or trials, there is something in each day to embrace and cherish. There is something in each day that can bring gratitude and joy if only we will see and appreciate it." I believe that. These songs express my thanks to my Creator for the beauties of the earth and skies, the love of my family and friends, and the gift of Jesus Christ the Savior.
