Jimmy Wilson born in Baltimore, Maryland and began playing the trumpet at age six. He later played in jazz bands and local bands while in High School. He attended the Preparatory Peabody Conservatory of Music, in Baltimore. Outside of writing and composing his music, Jimmy collaborates on several projects in writing and composing jazz and new age music with artists from around the world.
