简介
We\'re just two buds from the east coast who met in college and started a band called \'Brown Factory\'. Now we chill on the west coast and get together once a week to make some tunes. Steve\'s got a constantly producing funk/dance solo project called \'Shitman\' and is recording various artists on his label \'Personal Thang Records\'. Sam\'s in an indie/pop/rock band called \'Narwhal v Narwhal\', and has a solo project called \'Dirtbike\' that is funk/horror/dance-rock/avant-comedy. The first album will be dance rock. It\'s gonna be called \'Bright Grey\' and will drop around the end of 2008. here\'s a review: Does anybody know what is going on in Portland, Oregon? Snow? Rain? Lumberjacks? What about music? Nobody knows huh? Well let me tell you about a group from Portland, Oregon. So tight, they only recorded seven tracks. Temperature and Pressure\'s CD \"Geology\" reminds me of the music you hear in old classic blackexploitation movies like \"The Mack\", \"Three The Hard Way\" and others. The music is called \"RetroFunk\" and this CD reminds me of that, with a touch of jazz. Track 1. \"Feels Right Alright\" could be used as the opening of the movie, Track 2. \"Raphity\" is used for the cops chasing the bad guys on wheels and on foot. Track 3. \"Ooh Ahh\" is a nice little slow groove where the cop and the boss\'s girl is getting it on. Track 4. \"Relentless\" is a heavy synthesized groove, that portrays the cops raiding the boss\'s hideout throughout the city. Track 5. \"Mother Of A Man\" is a nice mid-tempo groove that could be used as stakeout music following the big boss. Track 6. \"Salt and Candy\" is a groove within itself and this is what you hear at the club where everybody is rejoicing for putting the boss man behind bars. Track 7 \"Running In Place\" is about 15 minutes long, which is the average time for the credits at the end of the movie. Man, that was one heck of a movie soundtrack! When you purchase this cd, you will say to yourself, \'Is this coming from Portland, Oregon?\'.... \'I didn\'t know they can funk like this!\'...For purchase & song samples, please visit CDBaby today!
