Fusion is a collaboration of work from Charles Campbell originally from Capetown South Africa now living in Ireland and Robert Walsh from England u.k. Charles Campbell fondly spent many years developing his craft as a guitarist and has played at many bow tie events during his time in South Africa before eventually moving to Ireland in 1998 where once again his prowess and reputation led him to being a focal point in a Van Morrison tribute band called 'Moon Dance' also a Garth Brooks tribute band called Rodeo' He also regularly supports many other tribute artists including Elvis, The Beatles, ,and The Shadows. Seeing an opportunity to get his music heard Charles sent some of his tracks to a man that was the founder, creator and presenter of a radio show called The Global Guitars Show'. That man was ......Robert Walsh. Robert Walsh originally from Manchester England was the frontman for a group from the city called 'The Northern Lights' who were an established cabaret group performing in all the major clubs in and around the North West of England. In due course they were to go on and entertain British troops at army bases in Germany. They recorded and released only one record, the 'A' side being called 'Bad Girl' which Robert wrote and the 'B' side called 'Exodus' which was an up tempo version of the well known song on which Robert played keyboards. After many successful years together eventually the band members went their own way and Robert established himself as a competent solo cabaret entertainer before deciding to retire from public performances. Still wanting to be involved in music he quickly turned his hand to presenting radio shows and part-time song writing. It was then that when Robert was looking for someone to produce his songs that he met Charles Campbell and so developed a unique partnership that has resulted in this their first album together 'Journey'.
