Bricks, the latest release from Nick Ring & Friends, was recorded at System 4 Studios in 2017. Friends, including Maryland musicians Austin Litz, Ryan Buell, Henriell Smith, Trevor Ring, and Roger Carmack, build a wall together, and march through the other side. During the recording process, System 4 experimented with a greater scope of storytelling through the use of sound effects, stereo layering, and anesthetic soloists.
