Born in East Cleveland, OH and moving at age 5 to Warrensville Heights, John "Y.K." Hardaway II was always somewhat of a misfit. Often challenged by his peers, he was never one to shy away from trouble. This attitude often landed him in and out of jail before he was 21. After his brother was sentenced to 5 years in prison, Y.K. was forced to enlist in the military for the next four years. Throughout his military enlistment he stayed musically active releasing two mixtapes with fellow Cleveland artist Robb Relo, and actively being involved in multiple other projects. In 2012 he started his own company, HMCG LLC. He's currently working on multiple projects with artists such as Lil Marv, Mr. Model, T.K. Duckett$, Shaadi, Tarik & many more.
