Stephen Nichols-Trombonist /Vocalist / Bandleader / Composer / Arranger began his professional music career in 1967 with the organization of his first music group, Made In America. As a bandleader Mr. Nichols conducted and performed with groups in the USA including Hawaii and in Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, South America and Asia. Steve's career, for over forty years, has been most interesting. He has performed on stage with Sammy Davis Jr., Stevie Wonder, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Fifth Dimension, The Osmond Brothers, The Michel LeGrand Orchestra, The Red Skelton Show, The Del Courtney Orchestra, The Luther Ingram Show, The Chita Rivera Show. The Crystal Gale Show, The Marvin Hammlisch Show, The Ben Vereen Show, The Patti Andrews Show, Royal Carribean Cruise Lines, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Celebrity Cruises among many, many other international performances. Stephen Nichols was Principal / featured Trombonist on National and International tours with The Mantovani Orchestra and served as trombonist with the U.S. Air Force White House Band where he performed for Presidents and Heads Of State from many nations worldwide. The composition, "Mr. President", was inspired by Steve's experience as a member of the White House Band while often performing the "ruffles & flourishes" for the President of The United States; the thematic material used for the melodic line of that song. Steve has traveled over a million miles and performed for millions of people in live stage shows, televised performances and motion pictures. While residing in Hong Kong he established Seabreeze Music for the promotion of live music and presenting original compositions in public performance. Steve's compositions and arrangements have been published and recorded since 1969. Originally from Humboldt, Tennessee Mr. Nichols grew up in Miami, Florida from age seven, later spending more than thirty years outside of America. He now resides in Florida, USA where he manages Seabreeze Music.
