DONALD WRIGHT WAS BORN IN WADHINGTON D.C. on Nov 5,1950. I started playing music in church at 13, singing and playing the drums.. At 17 I started playing lead guitar for a group call the Matrebs. We did opening acts for groups like Harold Melvin and The Blue NOTES,Funkerdalics,GLADYS Knights and The Pips.The Soft Tones,Brute,KOOL and THE GANG In 1973 I Started playing lead guitar for a Motown Group call the Dynamic Superior.IN 1980 I also did some work for AMERCIAN RECORDING COMPANY,AND EARTH,WIND AND FIRE. And now Im an solo artist and Vice Presidnet for AFGANIC RECORDS.
