Perun is a journey.

The idea has been growing for years, from the youthful fascination of heavy music, alternative and modern jazz, to finaly become mature and polished monument containing various generes of musical expression, connected by a common theme - scraps of Slavic Heritage in European lands, and their impact on the conciousness of the Slavic descendants.

Perun's aim is to paint vague and ephemeral landscapes with sound-spots combining raw black metal, drone, ambient, modern classical and musique concréte to recreate what we believe existed in the distant past, and what You may dive into.

Although in Perun's music inspiration of (growing in popularity) ambient/electronica is hearable, all sound smudges have been painted by classical instrumentation, and self-made instruments recorded in field recording sessions in Polish countryside. Slava!
