This album would likely be found in the New Age section and deserves to be made available. It is "mood" music but the mood is light and airy, happy and positive, delightful. Nothing is really sad or dramatic--"Moonlight Elegy" being the closest but it's more of an introspectic piece than a melancholy one. Melodic and with an interesting mix of timbres, piano being the main instrument. Electronics also are employed effectively. Flute, oboe, bells, and ocean and other sound effects on some tracks. Easy harmonies and light on rhythm (percussion or bass line seldom intrudes) but it's far from being merely ambient music. However, this makes a good background for an intimate evening with someone special. I bought this on cassette in Korea (1993) and had to hunt down a CD of it in 2008 because it is such a significant member of my collect.
