简介
S.O.C.O.M. (Soldier Of Christ On a Mission) first came on the gospel scene in the summer of 2005. He released his debut album, “Tha Arrival”, on Double Edge Sword Records in February 2006. “Tha Arrival” did amazingly well considering it was independently released. The initial run sold out in a little less than a year. The hit song “Take It To The Churchfloor” blazed radio charts nationwide and was featured on DJ Laces’ #25 mixtape, Gospel Skate Jams Vol. 2, and the upcoming Holy & Crunk Vol. 1 (due out in early spring 2007). S.O.C.O.M.’s ministry differs from many because he is a Soldier for Christ as well as a full time Soldier in the U.S. Army—a Warrant Officer stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. God has highly favored him as he has performed in over fifty concerts nationwide during 2006 and already has 25 concerts lined up for 2007 in support of his new release “Time Out”. His sophomore album, “Time Out”, is sure to raise the bar in the Christian Rap genre and impact radio charts. “Time Out” features the hit song “Awesome God” (featuring gospel veteran Tonex), “Strapped” (featuring K-Drama), “Makeya Fingers Snap” (featuring Apaulsoul and Unknown), “John 3:16”, and a song that is sure to touch even the hardest of hearts on the issue of school shootings called “I Keep Cryin” (featuring Scott Tsakeres). This exceptional album has a combination of styles to showcase the artist’s versatility. With this type of range there’s something for all listeners to enjoy. S.O.C.O.M. does not just focus on music but focuses on the word of God. He studies at S.O.C. (Servant’s Of Christ) Men’s Ministry in Colorado Springs, CO, and is on the front lines on this battlefield bringing “God’s Word Over Beats” that reach both the secular and Christian markets. S.O.C.O.M. is a true Soldier, and many lives have been changed and brought to Christ from all across the nation through the ministry God has given him at Double Edge Sword Records.
