"Lookin4u" is about your pursuit, it's about your youth, it's about what we want and who we want. Lyrically, Theothoughtless tries to paint a picture about growing into your role and owning it. It's a relatable topic, to be caught up in the mess of wanting someone, being wanted, wanting to be sought out. Dating, love stories, lust, and juggling your roles in society to get ahead and not get left behind. We make choices, spend the time, make our compromises, and ultimately lose out on other things. Get yours, f*** people, either look for them or look out for yourself. Theothoughtless wrote most of the lyrics to L4u in high school and hadn't done much with his music since then. Out of all the songs he had written, over the course of several years this was the one that stuck - He knew the lyrics in and out and enjoyed the flow.
