Moonraker - the Remixes! Moonraker is a rock band based in Brooklyn, NY. The band originated in Boston, when two film students, David Moltz and Kody Akhavi, and their roommate, drummer Dan Mintzer, began experimenting with electronic music. They were joined by Kelli Scarr and Dan Chen, and immediately a strong connection was formed between the five of them. Musically, the band has never been easily categorized. Their sound has been described as electronic rock and experimental dance rock; they have been compared to Björk, Portishead, Stereolab, early U2 and the Police.
