Following the success of her last single, “Gypsy Babe”, Vancouver’s Jody Glenham packed up for a month in L.A., working with producer Raymond Richards (Local Natives, the Parson Red Heads) on the songs that would become Dreamer. Richards’ past musical work includes stints playing guitar/pedal steel for Mojave 3, Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Richards also produced/record Local Natives’ 2009 breakout album. 5 songs from these sessions along with “Gypsy Babe” now come to life as the Dreamer EP. Hailed by the Georgia Straight as “a potent cocktail of torchy retro-twang and gauze-swaddled pop-noir,” Dreamer is a perfect slice of modern pop, grounded in classic songwriting. The lead single, 'Between You and Me' recently debuted on KEXP and a music video - inspired by 90s cult classic 'The Craft' - is scheduled for an early March release.
