Guitarist and Composer/Recording Artist Michael Marciano is a New York native. He studied classical guitar, music theory and composition at the Crane School of Music in upstate NY. After graduating he moved to St. Lucia, W.I. to become director of guitar studies at the St. Lucia School of Music (ext. of the Royal Academy of Music in London) He also performed in BET Jazz Festivals annually traveling throughout the region as a performer with local artists. He also produced recordings, was a commissioned composer for the St. Lucia School of Ballet, and transcribed the complete works of caribbean folk music by famed St. Lucian Frank Norville for publication and the inclusion in the National Archives.

Now living in NY Marciano has recorded and produced his own music and performs with artists around the NYC area. He is a BMI Songwriter and has had success finding his music placed within several media outlets. Marciano's playing blends his experience with jazz, classical, rock, reggae and world music. He also plays drums, piano, upright bass and trumpet.

I produce my own music and play most of the instruments on the tracks. I am influenced by all styles of music and my writing reflects that.
