The best music you hear is made with your friends in your living room late at night when you start to act wacky and the only objective is to keep having a great time. To stimulate more of that sort of music making, we started the Rhapsody Project together in 2012. Along with our concerts, classes, workshops and jams, this album is a part of our mission to let more folks know about the diverse riches of our American musical heritage. Don’t only listen to this album—dance to it. Then we’ll bring our instruments over to your place, roll up the rug, and throw a party in your living room. Maybe beforehand we can bring the Rhapsody Project into your kids’ school for a concert or residency. Music is like food, far more delicious when you make it for yourself.

Take Yo Time is the first duo CD from Ben Hunter & Joe Seamons under the Rhapsody Project. This CD combines blues, folk, jazz, jug band, and rags, and was created in celebration of American Roots music.
