With her unique and versityle style, Serita Campbell has been a trailblazer bringing the rap, neo-soul, and reggaeton style of music to the gospel realm. Born Serita Ward in Morehead City, North Carolina, Serita started singing at the age of seven. In her early teens, Serita began to play many of the instruments found in her church including the keyboard (organ) and the trumpet which she ultimately mastered.

It was in 1993, with only a keyboard and a karaoke machine, Serita began to record her own songs and let God use her by speaking His Word though music.  At the age of twenty-one Serita moved to Milwaukee where she met and married her husband, Elder Rodney E. Campbell. Shortly thereafter, God’s Gift Gospel Studio (3G)was established were she produces other artist as well as all of her own albums including “The Vessel”, “The Realness”, and “Life Over Death”. With her ability to speak and sing in Spanish doors have opened around the US and Puerto Rico with numerous well known Latin and Reggaeton artist. Serita has also won numerous honors such as a Latin Grammy for “Song of the Year” and “Female Vocalist of the Year Award” at the 2008 Anointed Pages Magazine Gospel Awards Ceremony.

The unique delivery and anointed versatility of Serita Campbell’s work has touched many lives and blessed many souls. Serita is also an inspirational speaker and preacher that travels throughout the nation speaking to the young and old about the love of Christ as well as real life issues.                  

Serita currently lives in Milwaukee WI where she is working on her third Associates Degree in Electrical Studies.  She is also the president of the Women in Technology Club at her college and is presently on the Dean’s List.  She continues to assists her husband, Pastor Rodney Campbell, as Co- Pastor of Crossing Jordan Ministries in Milwaukee, WI.
