I've always wanted to do a Live and Unplugged album. My music evolves on the road, on the gig. It changes, morphing into something more than the seed I recovered in the recording studio. This CD has captured much of this. I also took the opportunity to unveil a number of new songs (one written the NIGHT BEFORE the live recording!) that I feel will grow to be a permanent piece in my musical tapestry. I did not want to do songs over and over again until I got them "right." Flawless recordings are for the studio. When you're on the gig live, "s*#t happens." You forget lyrics, change chords, improvise on the fly. I left all that stuff in. This way, it's more authentic and in many ways, exciting. Enjoy!
