简介
Dante Frisiello is a 24 year old law student. He has been playing and studying guitar for 10 years, and the "Fool's Paradise" EP is his debut release. "Fool's Paradise" is inspired by the melodic guitar driven music of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson, but Dante is also inspired by progressive rock artists such as Rush, Haken, Marco Minnemann, and Steven Wilson. "Fool's Paradise" was written and guitar tracked in Dante's Washington, D.C. apartment during his second year of law school. The remaining contributions were made from other home and bedroom studios and laptops around the world. The EP features the skills and abilities of two incredible musicians, Craig Blundell, and Rob Smith. Both Craig and Rob have worked with significant artists in the instrumental and progressive rock world, including Steven Wilson, Frost*, Dave Weiner, and Rob Balducci. The EP was produced by two individuals, Evan Frazer (Mixing) and Blake Freda (Mastering). The beautiful, one of a kind album art created for "Fool's Paradise" was hand painted by Taylor Adams, in her home studio. Dante shared the music with Taylor, and asked her to create an image inspired by the music, with no guidance, direction, or other marching orders. Dante would also like to specifically thank Lee Nemer for contributing to the bass guitar writing process, and to his special friend Brendan Hasson, for helping tweak the synth sounds on the record, and for always providing a trustworthy set of ears and feedback. I hope you enjoy this record, and I hope that you never stop chasing your paradise.
