简介

January 18th 2010 marks the 22nd release from Germany’s Sportclub Music - a new EP collaboration from a powerhouse group of Berlin based producers that is nothing less than MASSIVE! Each of these three cuts of tech house mastery brings you a dazzling variation of the title track 'BLAM AND FLOW' by Axel Bartsch, featuring vocals by Jake the Rapper. The opening track "Blam and Flow [Hunt Version]" sets the tone for tension. Jake "The Rapper" Basker tells us the story of a wolf who only wants to explain his psyche - the predator in all of us. Axel Bartsch's signature minor key melodic minimalism is embellished lightly by percussive elements and just the right amount of hip shake. The occasional otherworldly arpeggio rips a vast seam through the hypnotic groove...this is techno! Come back from the cosmos and into the club with the next track, "Blam and Flow [All the Beast Version]". The melody variates between pulsating menace and sweet seduction with intermittent velvety harmonies. The wolf is back, and this time he's a bit hungrier. Thick warm synths fill the space with electric heat while a drum machine taps along at top speed. Occasional swooshes of frequencies explode in the background. Rounding out the EP with a mammoth club remix is the highly respected Thomas Schumacher (Get Physical). Turn this one up to "11", you'll understand why! This is sexy, booty shaking big room music. Jake the Rapper's voice booms over the dance floor above tremor inducing sub bass, kept in time with a bone crushing clap. A fourth previously unreleased track by Axel Bartsch, "Cuarenta Y Tres Con Leche", recorded during his 2008 album sessions will also be available as a digital only bonus. Shadowy groove meets unconventional melodies and swells of ghostly voices. A must have!
