Brooklyn's Party Lights, formed in 2013, wears their power pop and new wave influences on their sleeve, fishnets and leather hot pants. Singer/guitarist Anna Anabolic was raised on a steady diet of Cheap Trick, The Go Go's, The Real Kids and The Runaways, and when she met Joan Chew (bass, vocals), David Smilow (drums) and Elliott Klein (guitar) in a little club in New York's East Village called The Electric Banana - don't look for it, it's not there anymore - she knew she'd met her match.
