Partners In Time has been performing with Souren Baronian for over 25 years in Honolulu Hawaii every winter. We typically play a concert at the Atherton Hall at Hawaii Public Radio each year. In 2016, we were able to make a high quality multi-track recording of our yearly concert. This was played on the air in June in Hawaii and released here as a live CD. The tunes were all written by Souren with the exception of 'Picture' which was written by master oud player Ara Dinkjian. The influences are Armenian and Turkish folk music combined with modern harmony and jazz improvisation. The Atherton Hall has wonderful acoustics and the concert was well attended by about 60 people in a natural, acoustic, intimate setting.
