简介
Growing up, Cynthia often experienced the powerful soul-singing of her mom and aunts right in her own living room. This stimulated an on-going love for music, singing and songwriting. In her teen years, Cynthia teamed-up with a neighborhood friend and formed the group “2 house People.” The group, 2 house People would soon release their first single “Move My Body,” which was produced by Farley (Jack Master Funk) Keith and Danny (Sweet D) Wilson. D.J. Pierre took a special liking to Cyndi’s great spirit and unique singing style and brought her on as a permanent member of his first female group called Phantasia. Her role in the group was one of 2 lead singers who would later collaborate in harmony with their first release, “Time Time Again.” D.J. Pierre would not soon after, feature Cynthia as a soloist on his single “Come and Fly” and went on to produce two more which were written by Cynthia titled: “Love Storm” and “Everything I Do.” After a couple of years, the group would split and Cyndi pursued a relationship with the Almighty. Cynthia worked diligently in her studies and later began working with the feeding the homeless ministry at her local church (The Apostolic Church of God), pastored by the late Arthur M. Brazier in Chicago, where she would later become a soloist and evangelist for the church’s street ministry. In 2002, God unctioned Cyndi to write several musical works which she presents to the world today in the form of her new CD entitled “Reverence.”
