Pianist Andrew Palmer Todd has been heard in concert throughout the United States. As the winner of the Artists International Piano Award, he made his New York Debut in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in 2001 and is a winner of the "Notes at 9,000: Emerging Artists Series". Mr. Todd received a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he was a student of David Korevaar. He holds additional degrees from Northwestern University, where he studied with David Kaiserman, and the Mannes College of Music, where he studied with Jerome Rose and Pavlina Dokovska. Mr. Todd has made appearances in solo recitals and as a chamber musician at Fort Lewis College, Mesa State College, the Colorado Music Festival, the Aspen Music Festival and School, SUNY Oswego, Converse College, Colorado Mountain College, Western Oregon State University, Western State University, and the University of Denver. As an orchestral soloist he has appeared with the Aurora and Littleton Symphony Orchestras, the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Todd has also performed in New York at the Polish Consulate, the French Consulate, and Steinway Hall. His performances have been featured on WQXR, Colorado Public Radio, Bulgarian National Radio, and the Aspen Public Radio. An accomplished organist, Mr. Todd served as Music Director at Christ Episcopal Church in Aspen, Colorado from 2002 to 2012, where he directed the church's concert series Music in the West End. He is a Colleague of the American Guild of Organists. Since 2007, Mr. Todd has been the Executive Director of Aspen Public Radio, an NPR member station that serves the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valleys on Colorado's Western Slope. Mr. Todd's first CD, featuring works of Bach, Beethoven, Granados, and Rachmaninoff, was released in 2002 and is available on Roaring Fork Records.
