Dear friends…old and new, This record was born out of the strange intertwining of pain & promise that defines this life. In December I received a phone call that I had lost my Dad in an accident. The months that followed have been the most brutal yet beautiful days. I’ve since been wresting anew with the words that Jesus told us to pray, “your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is heaven.” Despite the trials of life, I am even more convinced that someday God will make everything right. But until that day, I fight to live in a manner that advances his causes in this world. I’m so proud of this collection of songs. Most of them were written in community with some of my closest friends. I hope you have as much fun listening as we did creating. Thank you for picking up this album and for supporting our music.
