简介

Volume 11 of a collection of indie rock tunes by various artists from the 1960s to the 2010s that represent 50 years of rock & roll history and its evolving change. Some tunes were nationally charted hits while others were regional . 01) “13 Hours On The Highway” by Sheffield & Webb is a road song about the long drives made by truckers when a combination of little sleep, exhaustion and use of amphetamines often causes imaginary visions. 02) “Anything But Lies” is a combination of blues rock and psychedelia by the Night Shadows, a 1960s garage band that still has a cult following of enthusiasts of that genre and also jam bands. 03) “Blindside” by Bobby “Bones” Jones is an easy going rocker about a guy that suspects his girlfriend is seeing someone else on the side. 04) “Chiquita Margaritta” is an uptempo tune by Big Al Jano’s Blues Mafia Show about a girlfriend that moved to Nashville to live with someone with more money. 05) “Full Speed Ahead” by Roger Hurricane Wilson is a rocker with a message to go “full speed ahead” at whatever endeavor you may be undertaking. 06) “Gotta Find A Woman” by Schmaltz expresses what many men feel about finding that perfect love. 07) “Say It Ain’t So” by Barrelhouse Bob Page is a swinging rocker lamenting hearing some unpleasant news about someone you’re fond of. 08) “Sweetest of Hearts” by Camille! is a song about the loss of a loved one with an orchestral background to set the somber mood. 09) “East Coast Ways” by Little Phil is an uptempo tune about one of the classy type women you often find in the States along the east coast. 10) “Tappin’ On My Windowpane” by Liane Webb of the duo Sheffield & Webb, is a tune about a fellow trying to return after a breakup with his girlfriend.
