Joey Turner, raised in Texas, now living in Sioux Falls South Dakota, has been writting songs for 11 of his 19 years. Joey\'s songwriting and musicianship don\'t show his age; instead they reaveal a talent beyond that of the ordinary teenager. Joey\'s musical influences range from 70\'s rock to the Emo of his generation to whatever local independent artist he\'s currently working with. Joey\'s debut album was recorded live in the studio, during one afternoon session, just him and his guitar. Yet the ten songs on Return of the Prodigal cover a wide range of style and sound.
