A total of 16 musicians, in and around Atlanta, Georgia participated in the making of the CD. Having so many talented musicians rotating in and out of the project lead to naming the band, the Revolvers. Virtually every song started with Stevie Vegas on percussion, and me on bass and vocals, going in studio and laying down the foundation for the tunes. Then, desicions were made as to what other instrumentation to add and who would play the instrument. Every instrument, with the exception of the sax and trumpet, was added one at a time. Several tunes laid idle for months while deciding what to add next. When a new instrument was brought in the musician was given great leeway on what to play. The freedom given to each musician made the process enjoyable for all and ended up putting twists on the outcome of several tunes. I had envisioned tunes going in one direction but at times they veered off in unexpected directions. It took 3 years to complete the project and I hope you get as much pleasure listening to the tunes as we did in making them. Tony Wessels
